Obituary for Amy Kilpatrick
Amy Kilpatrick, age 81, of Brownfield, IL passed away July 26, 2022, at home. She was born north of Golconda, IL on March 25, 1941, to James Monroe and Catherine Aloysious (Stroble) Siener. She married Wesley Ragain “Jack” Kilpatrick on April 9, 1960. To this union three children were born. She was a devoted wife and mother to her children. She enjoyed cooking for her family especially when they all came home for holidays. She enjoyed her crafts especially her quilting group where she quilted on many quilts and made a lot of her own and gave to her children and grandchildren. She was a great worker at Brownfield Baptist Church where she was a member since 1967. She stood beside her husband while he was playing his baseball and coaching our sons and daughter teams and also granddaughter’s team. Amy was the assistant postmaster in Brownfield for ten years. She also was on the election board for twenty-five plus years. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Rodney and Paul Siener; three nephews; five sister-in-laws, Alice Sue Farmer, Martha Siener, Betty Peck, Doris Peck, Shirley Kilpatrick; one son-in-law, Kenneth Morris; one brother-in-law, Daniel Kilpatrick. Amy is survived by her husband, Wesley “Jack” Kilpatrick, two sons, Michael (Shelia) Kilpatrick of Marion, N.C., James “Jim” (Monica) Kilpatrick of Waxhaw, N.C.; One daughter, Twyla Morris of Golconda, IL; nine grandchildren; Jonathan (Ashlyn) Kilpatrick and Benjamin (Summer) of Augusta, GA, Ashley (Austin) Poe of Ozark, IL, Jessica (Cody) Trankler, Haley, Becca (fiancé Weston) and Austin of Waxhaw, NC, Emma and Mitchell Kilpatrick of Marion, NC; five great-grandchildren, Jackson, Luke, Aurdy, Samuel, Jana, and two on the way; three brothers, Roy (Mary Lou) Siener of Sycamore, IL, James (Carolyn) Siener of Gilbertsville, KY, Victor (Ava) Siener of Paducah, KY; sister-in-law, Coleen Siener. Amy is also a member of the Heartland Mule Riders but doesn’t ride but does do the cooking for the riders at 9-day camp and any other place that she camps. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm on July 30, 2022, at Aly Funeral home in Eddyville. Brother Mark Staton, Tommy Dutton, Benjamin Kilpatrick, and Jonathan Kilpatrick will conduct the service. Interment will follow at the Roland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9 pm on July 29, 2022, at the funeral home Memorials may be made to: Pope County Senior Citizens, or M*A*S*H 62938
