Obituary for Wilma Barger
Wilma Grace Barger, age 93, of Eddyville, passed away at 3:10 AM, Monday, July 28, 2014 at Fountain View Nursing Home. She was the widow of Rev. Clifford Barger. Wilma was the daughter of the late Herve and Florence (Whitsell) Cowan. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Lebanon South Cumberland Presbyterian Church since 1958. Wilma is survived by two sons, Bill (Sharon) Barger of Woodstock, IL, Kenneth (Delilah) Barger of Eddyville;  two daughters, Mary Ann (Kenneth) Dennis, Brenda (Gene) Baine both of Eddyville; sister-in-law, Rose Barger; grandchildren, Linda (Loren) Wood, Kay (David) Atwood, Steve (Terri) Barger, Phil (Brenda) Krinzlie, Scott Barger, Sandi (Dave) Zang, Jeffrey Dennis, Robert Dennis, Rita (Bill) Culkin, Beth (Ray) Behlmann, Melissa Maue, Douglas Forrest, Linda Clarke; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Herve Barger, Lonnie Barger; brother, Robert Cowan; three sisters, Thelma Stevenson, Lucille  McFarland, Bernice Bowers; four grandchildren, Betsy Ciskowski, Stasha Lee Barger, Gloria Ann Dennis, and Rebecca Grace Forrest. Visitation is Wednesday, July 30, 2014, from 5 to 8 PM at Aly Funeral Home in Eddyville.  Funeral service will be 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Gilead Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Simpson. Visitation at the church will be from 10 AM until time of service on Thursday. Rev. Junior Martin will conduct the service. Burial will follow at the Gilead Cemetery.
