Obituary for Vivian Kay Little Stratemeyer

Vivian Kay Little Stratemeyer, age 74, of Rosebud, IL passed away at 2:55 am on March 2, 2016 at Metropolis Nursing and Rehab Center in Metropolis, IL.
Vivian was a retired social worker for Shawnee Alliance and had previously worked at the Pope County Court House in Golconda. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Metropolis, IL.
Vivian was born on September 18, 1941, the daughter of Olca and Eula (Thompson) Elam in Rosebud. She married Al Little in 1967 and he preceded her in death in 1999. She married Frederic Stratemeyer in July 2005, and he survives.  She is also survived by her son, Keith Rogers (Jane); four sisters, Barbara Ferguson, Patsy Bowman (Kenneth), Gloria Neibch, Sue McCord (Don); sister-in-law, Betty Elam; brother-in-law, Richard Neibch, Sr; step grandson, Gary Little (Mandy); two step daughters, Julie Hayes, Nancy Harris. Also surviving are her loving and special nieces and nephews, Greg Elam, Carmen Adams, Anita Woods, Neal Ferguson, Craig Bowman, Corey Bowman, Tiffany Bowman, Tonia Ramer, Richard Neibch Jr, Heath Neibch, Gabriel McCord, Kim Kilcoyne, Valerie Lee; many loving great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her first husband, and her parents, Vivian was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Elam; two nephews, Joe Elam, Bobby Elam, stepson, Darrell Little.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Aly Funeral Home in Eddyville, IL. Visitation will be from noon until the funeral hour. Brother Amon White will be officiating. Interment will follow service at the Antioch Cemetery in Rosebud.
