Vicki Patton a celebration of life…

Vicki Rae (Neunlist) Patton, age 57, made her glorious entrance into heaven on December 2, 2013 at 4:10pm at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was surrounded by family and the beautiful presence of the Lord.

Vicki was preceded in death by her father, Dempsey Victor Neunlist Jr.; her daughter, Angel Lenn Patton; her nephew, Mathew John Nuenlist; maternal grandparents, John and Millie Martin; paternal grandparents, Dempsey Victor Neunlist Sr. and Gladys Neunlist.

She is survived and lovingly remembered by her mother and step-father, Treva (Martin) Neunlist Chisler and James Chisler of Punta Gorda, FL; her brother, Christian Dee Neunlist from Marion; her daughter and son-in-law, Cassandra Rea (Patton) Steinsultz and Jonathon Gregory Steinsultz from Marion; grandchildren, Angelyn Jace Steinsultz, Patton Gregory Steinsultz, and baby Steinsultz, expected in February; one brother-in-law, George Patton; two sisters-in-law, Diana Patton Ferrell, Melanie Patton (Curt) Presser; two aunts, Della (Martin) Eickelmann, Mary (Martin) Barker; one uncle, William Floyd (Mary) Martin; seven nieces and nephews, Brandon Neunlist, Heather Neunlist, Tyler (Jeanie) Ferrell, Ginger Ferrell (Chris) Shick, Amber Presser (Steven) Ohse, Aaron (Amber) Presser, Allison Presser (Brandon Hopkins); many cousins and great nieces and nephews.

Vicki was born in Hammond, Indiana on December 27, 1955. She graduated from Pope County High School in 1974 and went on to attend Southeastern Illinois College and Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois.

Her life was devoted to her husband and family. She lived to bring joy into her grandchildren’s lives, and she will be forever loved, missed, and cherished by all who knew her...her church family at Lick Creek Pentecostal Church, and those sweet friends she considered family.

The celebration of life will be held at Marion First Apostolic Church 923 N. Bentley St., Marion, IL 62959, on Saturday, December 7, 2013. Visitation will be held from 11-1 pm.
