Obituary for Ronald Cunningham
Ronald Rue Cunningham passed away March 3, in Harrisburg Medical Center after 8 years of alzheimers.  He  was born September 3, 1939 in Pine, MO. His father was Rue Cunningham of Eddyville, IL and his mother was Eula Savage of Ridgecrest, Ca.  Surviving are his wife, Mollie Cunningham of Delwood; Sons, Ron Wayne Cunningham of Boaz, Ky, Troy Cunningham of Paducah, Ky and Aaron Cunningham of Los Angleses, Ca. His step-mother, Ruth Randolph of Eddyville, Sisters, Sharon Todd of Ridgecrest, CA, Marilyn Faulkner of Dixon Springs area,  Brothers, Bob Clay and Ed Cunningham of Eddyville. He has 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A memorial will be in Cedar Bluff Church in the Delwood community promptly at 3pm Sunday, March 15.  Food will be served at the nearby church camp where all may visit with family.His celebration of life and spreading of his ashes will be at a later date with family members present.  He loved the area he lived in and quite often would tell visitors places to see that were special to his heart.  He loved riding motorcycles, atv’s, and the buying and selling of tractors and cars, meeting the public.  He never met a stranger.  In leau of flowers or cards the family is asking that donations be made to cemetaries of the area: Pleasant Ridge Cemetary and church east of Delwood, New Home Cemetery north of Eddyville, and Ingram Hill Cemetery southeast of Harrisburg. His caregivers in the nursing home and in the hospital will never know how much appreciation we his family give for their kind and gentle giving of his care during his time of special care.
