Obituary for Michael L. Jennings
Michael L. Jennings, 64, of Eddyville IL, and formerly of Rossville IL, passed away Thursday, Feb 2 at 9:17pm at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St Louis from complications of a 6 month battle with leukemia. He was born Oct 19, 1952, in Danville IL, the son of Roscoe and Vivian (Goss) Jennings. He married Cathy Wood in August 1985, she survives. He graduated from Schlarman High School in 1970, and also graduated from Danville Area Community College and Eastern Illinois University. He was an electrical engineer for many years, working for FMC in Hoopeston IL and later for Illinois Toolworks of Itasca IL. He is survived by a sister, Patty Clutter of Danville IL, and a nephew, William (Melody) Clutter of Danville IL. Michael was currently retired, enjoying his home and 30 acres next to Shawnee National Forest in southern Illinois. He enjoyed hiking, bicycling, working on his project car, vacations with Cathy, and electronics. He could fix anything. He was an eternal faithful fan of the Fighting Illini mens basketball team and the Baltimore Orioles baseball team. He was the best husband a woman could ever have. There will be no services.
