Obituary for Curtis Hall
Curtis Wayne Hall, 58, passed away in Harrisburg, on Thursday, August 6, 2015, surrounded by his family. Curtis was born south of Eddyville on August 19, 1956, the son of James Hall and Wilma Violet (Leibenguth) Hall. He attended school in Pope County before the family relocated to Saline County, near Pankeyville. Curtis lived the remainder of his life on the same farm in Saline County where he lived as a young man with his parents. Curtis enjoyed spending time outdoors and riding horses, a passion he passed on to his children. He leaves behind, a son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Delaney Hall of Golconda; daughters, Ariana Hall of Carrier Mills and Alyssa Anderson and husband, Wesley of Carrier Mills; one granddaughter, Layla Hall of Carrier Mills; siblings, Enoch “Bud” and Bonnie Hall of Bloomington, Rebecca Springer of Stewardson, Sadie Barger of Eddyville, Rose Riley of Effingham, James and Sherry Hall of Eddyville; and several nieces and nephews. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ruth Ann Cunningham; and two brothers-in-law, Larry Barger and Lynn Springer. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on August 8, 2015 at Ingram Hill Cemetery, Pankeyville. Family and friends should gather at the Cemetery at 9:30 am. Rev Roy Baker will officiate.
