Obituary for Cooper Ryan Gibbs
Cooper Ryan Gibbs, age 14 of Eddyville, IL passed away July 2, 2021 in Mountain Grove, MO.
He was born February 21, 2007, in Marion, IL. Cooper was a student at Pope County Community High School where he was an incoming freshman and Class of 2025. Cooper was always willing to help others, happy and smiling. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, ATV riding, and the outdoors. Cooper also liked playing video games.
Cooper is survived by his mother, Tammy (Danny) Hopson; grandparents, Gale and Carmen Clardy; sister, Halee Buttrum; brother, Owen Hopson; aunt, Tonya (Michael) Cowsert; uncle, Lee Clardy; aunt, Jackie Clardy; father, Jonathan (Abby) Gibbs; grandmother, Becky (Terry) Barger; grandfather, Kim (Connie) Gibbs; grandmother, Jody Brock; great grandfather, Larry Wise; great grandmother, Laverta Barger; great grandparents, Joe and Shirley Gibbs; two sisters, Kylie Gibbs, Payzley Gibbs; two uncles, Bradley (Lindzey) Barger, Brett Barger; aunt, Cheyenne Gibbs; numerous extended family and friends.
Funeral service will be 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Aly Funeral Home in Eddyville, IL. Brother Michael Friend will conduct the service. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Boulden Cemetery in Eddyville, IL.
