Obituary for Boyd Bormann

Boyd Bormann, 66 of Metropolis, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013, at Baptist Health, Paducah, Kentucky. Boyd was born August 2, 1946 in Paducah, Kentucky to Abraham and Doris (Hillebrand) Bormann. Mr. Bormann worked at EEI for 20 years and the National Guard for 6 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Metropolis. He was a cowboy and enjoyed rodeoing. He married Martha (Taylor) on August 4, 1972, and together they shared over 40 years of marriage.
Boyd is survived by his wife, Martha Bormann of Metropolis, IL; mother, Doris Wallace of Metropolis, IL; son, Tyson (Kara) Bormann of Metropolis, IL; daughter, Abbey (Chad) Kaylor of Metropolis, IL; brother, Gary (Deborah) Bormann of Ayre, MA; sister, Kathleen (Bill) Trovillion of Kevil, KY; two half-brothers, Patrick Wallace of Metropolis, IL and Russ Wallace of Little Rock, AR; four grandchildren, Sophie May Bormann, Grady Lee Bormann, Bailey Lynn Bormann and Sadie Rose Kaylor.
 
He was proceed in death by his father; sister, Barbara Jones; nephew, Detrick Bormann. 
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at First United Methodist Church in Metropolis, Il. Pastor Jeff Bealmear and Pastor Jon Cockrel will be conducting the service. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at church.
