Obituary for Billie Long

Billie Long, age 85, of Rosiclare, IL passed away on January 10, 2014 at home.
She was born May 25, 1928 at Dycusburg, KY to Carl and Ercell (Davenport) Bragdon.
In 1947, she married Fred K Angleton and had one son, Terry. She later married Willard Tucker and had one daughter, Cyndi. She cared for Willard through a long illness. She later married Wallace Long, and they have shared 34 years together.
Before her failing health, she loved to garden, can vegetables, cook and bake, and loved sharing those things with others. In the past year Wallace has devoted his time to taking care of her, and Cyndi has spent as much time as she could helping. She will truly be missed by her family and friends.
She leaves behind her husband, Wallace Long; daughter, Cyndi (Kevin) Carman, son, Terry (Mindy) Angleton; grandsons, Nicholas Shockley, Nathan Shockley, Jeff (Julie) Angleton, Cameron Angleton; great grand daughter, Amber Angleton; two sisters, Edith Brittain, Dorothy (Ulus) Smith; three nieces, Ann (Tommy) Kirk, Patti (David) England, Carla (John) Dunston; three nephews, Mike McKinney, Richie McKinney, David Bragdon; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first and second husbands, parents, two brothers, Glenn Bragdon, Rudy Bragdon; sister, Norma Joann Bragdon; brother-in-law, Gordon Brittain; nephew, Jeff Bragdon; great nephew, Matt Dunston; mother-in-law, Edna Long.
Funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Aly Funeral Home in Eddyville. Interment will follow at IOOF Cemetery in Golconda. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
