Obituary for Angela Kay Robbins

Angela Kay Robbins, 60, of Eddyville, Illinois passed away at her residence on April 11, 2020. Angela was born on October 14, 1959 in Kankakee, Illinois to Jack and Phyllis Hemphill. She proudly graduated with a ADN degree from Southeastern Illinois College in 1997 and was a proud member of Phi Theta Kappa. She worked at Massac Memorial Hospital as a registered nurse for several years. Angela will always be remembered for her generosity and care she gave to others for many years.

Angela is survived by her boyfriend, Bob Clay of Eddyville; Four brothers- Charles Hemphill (Summer), Jim Hemphill (Robin), Mike Hemphill (Jamie), and Bill Hemphill; One sister in law- Kathy Hemphill; Two children- Tonya Shannon (DeAries) and Michael Robbins (Sara); grandchildren- Tristen Reed, Terrin Reed, Taylor Robbins (Tim), Trenton Huston, Tanner Huston, Shayla Long-Robbins, Chole Seefeldt and Kaylee Robbins; great grandchildren children- Caleb and Kolby Richardson; and many nieces and nephews.

Angela is proceeded in death by one daughter- Kemberly Robbins; her parents- Jack and Phyllis Hemphill; two brothers- David Hemphill and Rick Hemphill; and a sister in law- Sunny Hemphill.

Angela will be remembered for helping others when they were in need. She enjoyed attending car shows with her boyfriend Bob, cooking with her grandchildren, and loved working as a registered nurse. Noone will forget her sweet smile and love that she gave everyone she met.

There will be no memorial service at this time. Friends and family will be notified if a service will take place. The family requests that if you wish to donate anything, please send it to St. Judes Childrens Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN, 38105.
